How do I get DIODE tokens?

The Diode Network is a DePIN network operated by the Diode Foundation. In the network, certain supplies and demands of bandwidth are rewarded with the DIODE token.

You can buy or trade DIODE on the Moonbeam network using MetaMask together with the Stellaswap decentralized exchange.

#1. Add Moonbeam to MetaMask

First, add the Moonbeam network to your MetaMask wallet by following the instructions on their website here.

#2. Fund your wallet with GLMR for gas

Moonbeam uses GLMR as its native token to pay transaction fees.

#3. Connect MetaMask to Stellaswap

Stellaswap is a DEX on Moonbeam where you can swap into and out of DIODE.

  1. Go to the Stellaswap swap page with DIODE pre‑selected:

  2. Make sure MetaMask is set to the Moonbeam network, then click “Connect Wallet” on Stellaswap and choose MetaMask.
  3. Approve the connection in the MetaMask popup.

#4. Swap for DIODE on Stellaswap

Once connected, you can trade GLMR or other supported Moonbeam tokens for DIODE at this link on Stellaswap.

  1. In the “From” field, select the token you want to swap (for example GLMR).
  2. In the “To” field, select DIODE (the contract address is pre‑filled in the link above).
  3. Enter the amount you want to swap and review the quoted price, slippage tolerance, and estimated gas fee.
  4. Click “Swap” and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  5. Wait for the transaction to confirm on Moonbeam, then check your wallet balance for DIODE.

If DIODE does not appear automatically in MetaMask, click “Import Tokens” in MetaMask and paste the DIODE contract address from Stellaswap.
